What is IDnomic C-ITS PKI ?
Tomorrow's vehicles will be connected and communicating with their environment (vehicles and road
infrastructures) thus encouraging the development of new ITS (Intelligent Transport System) applications to improve traffic flows, road safety and mobility as well as comfort services.
Establishing trust in the exchanges between ITS stations while preserving the users privacy is a new challenge.
As a Trusted Third Party, IDnomic provides PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) for users who want to communicate, authenticate, and exchange confidential data safely.

Benefits |
Manage your C-ITS stations in complete autonomy C-ITS stations operators have access to a secure selfcare portal where they can define profiles to configure permissions and certificates validity durations for their stations. They are autonomous for the registration of their stations. This can be done through a human interface, the upload of a file containing the list of stations or a Web Service. |
Easily convert cryptographic keys We provide a tool to ease the conversion of cryptographic keys to a standard format that is required for stations registration. |
Get PKI information at a glance In addition to conforming to the ETSI standard, our Distribution Centers are displayed in a human readable form to quickly get an overview of the deployed Certificate Authorities, CRL & CTL and their access links. |
Decode ETSI certificates and lists We propose a tool allowing to display in a human readable form, the content of C-ITS certificates and lists (TLM, RCA, EA, AA, EC, AT, ECTL, CTL, CRL). It also allows to check chains of authorities. |
View statistics and generate reports Our reporting interface provides data on the PKI activities. It allows clients to monitor the requests of stations to the PKI and get a first level of troubleshooting information in case of problems. |
Test your PKI protocol implementation Upon need, our test environment allows developers to test their implementation of ETSI TS 102 941. It provides extended capabilities to check all unit steps of the protocol and target the bit concerned. |
Manually download valid certificates for testing Developers who have not fully implemented the PKI protocol yet are still able to download AT certificates to test their message signature implementation. |
