Reporting

This page presents the reporting interface and explains how to visualize PKI data based on requests received from C-ITS stations.

Your credentials give you access to the data of your group only. Depending on your privileges, you may also be able to see "foreign" data from the same platform that cannot be linked to any group (e.g. malformed requests).

The reporting interface is split in the following sections:

  • Profiles displays data about profiles managed by the Operator interface.
  • ITS stations displays data about stations managed by the Operator interface.
  • Enrolment requests displays data about Enrolment requests received by the EA.
  • Validation requests displays data about Validation requests received by the EA from an AA.
  • Unknown requests displays data about requests that cannot be segregated (between enrolment and validation) hence properly processed by the EA.
  • Anonymous ITSs displays data about requests that cannot be linked to any known station. For privacy reasons, this section may be disabled for some users.

After modifications made on the Operator interface, the refresh time of data in the reporting interface takes few seconds.

Each section is organized according to the same structure with 2 tabs:

  • Operations tab is divided into three toggleable sections:
    • Statistics contains statistic graphs loaded with default parameters, where some parameters can be edited. Charts can be exported in SVG, PNG or CSV formats.
    • Searches gives different search options, with results shown in a table with a list of objects. When selecting a result and clicking on Detail the selected item (or double clicking) the page toggles to the Details tab.
    • Downloadable report: download a predefined/configurable report in CSV format.
  • Details displays detailed information about a selected object.

Reporting data

The reporting tool utilizes 2 types of stored data:

  • Default data: data extracted from the logs and stored in real-time in the reporting database.
  • Consolidated data: data calculated periodically (e.g.: once a day) from default data.
    • It is mainly aimed at grouping requests by ITS station and calculate some statistics over 4 fixed reference periods in time (Ref0: 2 days, Ref1: 7 days, Ref2: 30 days, and Ref3: All time (Limited to retention period)).
    • Search fields utilizing consolidated data are characterized with the symbol ° in the search° button. The consolidation date is indicated at the end of the Searches section; data generated after the consolidated date cannot be searched.

Depending on their nature, data are kept for an unlimited or defined period.

  • Unlimited duration for data related to Profiles and ITS stations.
  • Limited duration for data related to Validation requests, Unknown requests and Consolidated data. The retention period is configured per client instances.

Depending on the configuration of the EA, EC can be either limited or unlimited.

  • Number of enrolment requests displays the number of successful (OK) and/or FAILED group EC requests between two selected dates. It is possible to restrict the result to a single station by providing its ID or canonical name (both can be found in the Details tab of any station). The selected period is divided in 10 equal periods.

Searches

Results are sorted by EC request date.

  • Get by expiration date before° is to be used to display the list of group stations whose last provided EC have an expiration date before the selected date (in the future). The date of the last EC request successfully processed and the HashedID8 of the EC are also provided. If no date is selected, all stations with a valid EC are returned.

  • Get by failing since° is to be used to display the list of group stations that made failed EC requests since the selected date or during the past selected period (2 days, 7 days, 30 days or anytime).
If a station already successfully retrieved an EC, the date of its last EC request successfully processed and the HashedId8 of the last EC are also provided. If not, a generic message is displayed.

  • Get by number of success or fail larger than° is to be used to display the list of group stations that made a number EC requests (OK or FAILED) greater than the selected number during the past selected period (2 days, 7 days, 30 days or anytime).
If a station already successfully retrieved an EC, the date of its last EC request successfully processed and the HashedId8 of the last EC are also provided. If not, a generic message is displayed.
